01Overview

Youv.ai ("Youv.ai", "we", "us", or "our") provides software and AI services for clinics, hospitals and healthcare organizations. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you use our website, products and services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

02Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information you provide

  • Account information — name, work email, role, organization, phone number, and login credentials.
  • Customer content — data your organization uploads or generates while using the Services (for healthcare customers, this may include protected health information processed under a separate Business Associate / Data Processing Agreement).
  • Communications — when you contact us for support, demos or sales.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — pages viewed, features used, timestamps, and referring URLs.
  • Device data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Cookies & tracking.

03How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, maintain and improve the Services.
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts.
  • Communicate with you about product updates, support and billing.
  • Train and improve our internal models — using de-identified or aggregated data, and only where permitted by our contracts with your organization.
  • Detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

04Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share information:

  • With your organization — administrators of the account through which you access the Services.
  • With service providers — cloud hosting, analytics, error-monitoring and communications vendors who process data on our behalf under written agreements.
  • For legal reasons — to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process or government request.
  • In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality protections.

05Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Healthcare customer data is retained according to the terms of the agreement with that customer.

06Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

For healthcare data processed on behalf of a customer, please direct rights requests to that organization (the data controller).

07Security

We implement administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if we become aware of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

08Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Services — for example, to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

09Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Patient data of minors handled through the Services on behalf of a healthcare organization is governed by that organization's agreement with us.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Services or by email. Continued use of the Services after the update means you accept the revised policy.
